Who We Are

With two decades of experience building Barry's, I bring a wealth of entrepreneurial expertise and a keen eye for detail to Chateau Malibu, a contemporary French country estate I meticulously crafted to be the perfect setting for life’s most memorable moments.

While building Barry's in Paris, I was lucky enough to take several trips to Southern France and fell in love with its natural beauty and Mediterranean climate. The warm, sunny summers and mild winters reminded me of home, in Malibu. It was in Provence where I attended a few weddings and saw the endless possibilities of creating a weekend-long wedding celebration for our guests. Inspired by the timeless beauty of the European countryside, I chose exterior features to create a seamless blend of field ledge-stone and smooth, creamy plaster, evoking an ancient, rustic charm.

Accents like limestone slab fireplace hearths and reclaimed wood beams complete the home's refined yet welcoming aesthetic. Following a dedicated five-year rebuild after the Woolsey Fire, Chateau Malibu now stands ready to host cherished celebrations. Having celebrated my own wedding here, I am thrilled to share the dream of building a life together in this truly special place.
